Description: The church was originally dedicated to Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Gian Lorenzo Bernini carried out the magnificent main altar, which had been commissioned by Clement IX, a pope from Pistoia.
The building contains a famous pipe organ made by the Flemish Hermans. The instrument became a model used by all of Pistoia’s pipe organ builders.
